Kedarnath is a holy Hindu town located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand in India. It is one of the Char Dhams. It is approximately 86 kilometers from Rudraprayag, the district headquarter. It is a Nagar panchayat in the Rudraprayag district. It is famous for Kedarnath Temple. May to June and September to October are considered the best months to visit Kedarnath.
