One of the most revered Sikh shrines, Hemkund Sahib draws thousands of pilgrims every year. It is recorded in the holy Granth Sahib that the tenth guru of Sikhs. It is the highest Gurudwara of the Sikhs, located at an altitude of 4329 meters in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. It has a setting of a glacial lake surrounded by seven mountain peaks.
